# Mission: CKS career readiness

## Why

Earn the Certified Kubernetes Security Specialist (CKS) certification within one month to advance into more technical, security-aware cloud-native work. Build the practical judgment to secure and troubleshoot Kubernetes workloads, not merely memorise exam tasks.
|
|
|
|
## Success looks like
|
|
- Complete timed, hands-on CKS-style tasks with a clear, repeatable workflow.
|
|
- Explain and apply least privilege, workload hardening, network isolation, and runtime investigation in a realistic cluster.
|
|
- Sit the CKS exam within one month with evidence from two full simulations and a focused error log.
|
|
|
|
## Constraints
|
|
- One-month preparation window.
|
|
- Already completed CKA, CKAD, and KodeKloud CKS training; current gap is confidence and retrieval under time pressure.
|
|
|
|
## Out of scope
|
|
- Broad security theory not directly useful for Kubernetes operations or the CKS exam window.
